Kaz’s Recent Interview on NoHo Arts District.com
Kaz Matamura, media trainer to corporate executives, athletes and public figures, has been training public speakers in the US and in Japan, utilizing her theatre back ground.
In Los Angeles, she has been teaching Japanese instructors in academic environment how to teach Japanese more effectively, while making the culture more accessible to youth.
She is also a co-founder of the Secret Rose Theatre in North Hollywood. As a founder of the non- profit Fire Rose Productions, she has produced over fifty events and festivals, established student exchange programs, and formed children’s readers theatre at local libraries and free children’s arts classes.
Fire Rose Productions has created and manages three theatre companies: New Rose Ensemble, Mini Rose Ensemble and Arigato Kai, a Japanese language performing troupe.
She is also a classical Japanese Dance master of the Fujima Souke school under the guidance of the renowned Fujima Kansuma. Kaz has trained and coached more than three hundred Japanese and American clients since 2000.

ノースハリウッド シークレットローズシアター劇場主。こけら落としの“蝶々夫人（主演）”は批評家賞を受賞。
２０００年に非営利団体 ファイヤーローズ製作会社を立ち上げて以来、５０作以上の作品を制作．管下にアリガト会、ニューローズ、ミニローズの３劇団をおく。２００５年、藤間宗家勘十朗本人より藤間勘須貴の名前をいただく。
恩師である フランク・コーサロ、マーセデス・シャーリー、リン・レッドグレーブに教得ていただいたことを無駄にしないよう、２００２より演劇指導を始める。 演劇講師、またメディアトレイナーとして “人前で堂々とはなせる日本人”の育成をゴールにする。
２００６、女性演劇会よりレッドカーペットアワード受賞．
現在は、パブリックスピーチを教えるメディア・トレーナー、ビジネスコンサルタント、 発音矯正法をポッドキャスティングにて放送、ゲッティー美術館にて展示会と建築案内ボランティア、 バンド チープトリックのミュージカル製作の手伝いをする傍ら 演劇を通してのパートナーのPeaとともに 地域活性化に(mera mera) 燃えている。有名写真家マイケルヘルズとロス郊外シャドーヒルズ在中。
